1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing certifiedopc.com or enrolling in the Organizational Performance Counselor (OPC) certification program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kelcraft Solutions, LLC (“Kelcraft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. The OPC Certification Program
The OPC certification program is administered by Kelcraft Solutions, LLC and consists of:
- A self-paced curriculum delivered through an online learning platform — six modules for OPC Associate, nine modules for OPC Certified
- A module assessment for each curriculum module
- A live board review for OPC Certified candidates, conducted by a senior OPC practitioner
- Two credential tracks available for direct enrollment: OPC Associate and OPC Certified
- OPC Senior recognition available by application only — contact certifiedopc.com/contact for information
Kelcraft Solutions, LLC reserves the right to modify the curriculum content, assessment structure, and program requirements at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled candidates.
3. Enrollment and Payment
Enrollment window
Enrollment opens a 24-month completion window beginning on the date of purchase. All required module assessments must be completed and passed within this 24-month window. When the enrollment window expires, access to the curriculum platform is terminated regardless of progress. Expired enrollments cannot be extended — candidates who wish to continue must re-enroll at the current enrollment fee and begin the curriculum again from the start. No credit is given for prior progress or prior module assessments passed.
Curriculum fee
The curriculum fee is charged at enrollment and covers access to all curriculum modules and module assessments for your chosen track for the 24-month enrollment window. The OPC Field Manual digital download is included with all enrollment purchases.
Board review — OPC Certified
The board review is included in the OPC Certified enrollment fee. No additional charge is made at eligibility. Board review re-sits, if needed, are available at $225 per attempt, with a maximum of two paid re-sits.
Module assessment retakes
Module assessments may be retaken an unlimited number of times at no additional charge within the 24-month enrollment window. There is no waiting period between retake attempts.
Payment processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Kelcraft Solutions, LLC does not store your payment card information.
4. Refund Policy
Curriculum fee
The curriculum fee is refundable within 14 days of enrollment if no module assessments have been attempted. After 14 days or after any module assessment has been attempted, the curriculum fee is non-refundable. Enrollment expiration does not entitle the candidate to a refund.
Board review re-sit fee
Board review re-sit fees ($225 per attempt) are non-refundable once the re-sit has been scheduled. Rescheduling is available with at least 5 business days notice at no additional charge. Rescheduling with less than 5 business days notice may result in forfeiture of the re-sit fee.
5. Assessment and Credential Policy
Module assessments
Module assessments require a 90% passing threshold (81 of 90 questions correct). Results are reported as pass or fail only — scores are not disclosed. This mirrors the standard used by PMP, SHRM, and other professional credentialing bodies. Module assessments may be retaken unlimited times at no charge within the 24-month enrollment window.
OPC Associate credential
The OPC Associate credential is issued automatically upon passing all six required module assessments within the 24-month enrollment window. No board review is required.
Board review determinations — OPC Certified
The board review panel may issue one of four determinations:
- Pass — OPC Certified credential issued
- Conditional Pass — credential issued subject to a named developmental condition, determined case-by-case
- Defer — a specific competency gap was identified; up to two paid re-sits available at $225 each; written developmental notes provided within 5 business days; re-sit available after a minimum 60-day development period
- Not Recommended — requires unanimous board agreement; written notes provided within 5 business days; re-application considered after 12 months with documented evidence of development
Academic integrity
All assessments must be completed independently. Use of unauthorized assistance, sharing of assessment questions, or any misrepresentation in the certification process constitutes grounds for immediate credential revocation and permanent program disqualification.
Appeals
Candidates who receive a Defer or Not Recommended determination may request a written review of the board’s evaluation within 30 days of receiving their determination. Appeals must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and will be reviewed by the OPC program director. Appeal decisions are final.
6. Credential Use
Authorized use
Credentialed practitioners may use the following designations after their name while their credential is active and in good standing:
- OPC Associate: OPC-A
- OPC Certified: OPC
- OPC Senior: OPC-S
Credential revocation
Kelcraft Solutions, LLC reserves the right to revoke an OPC credential for:
- Violation of OPC ethics principles
- Academic dishonesty in the certification process
- Misrepresentation of credential status
- Conduct that brings the OPC credential into disrepute
Credential revocation is preceded by written notice and an opportunity to respond, except in cases of serious misconduct where immediate revocation may be warranted.
7. Intellectual Property
All curriculum content, assessment questions, frameworks, materials, and the OPC credential name and designation are the intellectual property of Kelcraft Solutions, LLC and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
Enrolled candidates are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access curriculum materials for the purpose of completing the OPC certification program. This license does not permit:
- Reproduction or distribution of curriculum content
- Sharing of assessment questions or answers
- Commercial use of OPC frameworks or materials without written permission
- Creating derivative works based on OPC curriculum content
8. Confidentiality
OPC practice is governed by confidentiality principles that extend to the certification process itself. Candidates agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of assessment questions and board review scenarios
- Not disclose the content of their board review experience in ways that would compromise the integrity of the assessment for future candidates
- Treat information shared by other candidates in any group or community settings as confidential
9. Practitioner Directory
Credentialed practitioners may request a listing on the certifiedopc.com practitioner directory. By submitting a directory listing, practitioners:
- Consent to public display of their name, credential level, specialty areas, location, and contact information
- Confirm that all information provided is accurate
- Agree to notify Kelcraft Solutions, LLC promptly of any changes to their credential status or listing information
Directory listings are removed automatically upon credential revocation. Practitioners may request removal of their listing at any time by contacting [email protected].
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kelcraft Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the OPC certification program or certifiedopc.com.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your enrollment in the OPC certification program shall not exceed the amount you paid to Kelcraft Solutions, LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The OPC certification program is provided “as is” and we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the program’s fitness for any particular professional purpose or the outcomes that may result from holding an OPC credential.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the OPC certification program shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Utah.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify enrolled candidates by email.
Your continued enrollment in the OPC certification program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
